EquineX first ran in 2009 and was a great success. The majority of our exhibitors reported strong sales and interest and intend to return in 2010. To cater for this, we’ve booked a larger venue that will see our main demonstration arena move indoors alongside commercial exhibitors – maximising exposure for everyone.
EquineX is owned by Canberra horse owners and riders, Andrew Hennell and Sally Jaggard, and the 2009 and 2010 events were managed under licence by an independent company – Rural Events Operations Pty Ltd.
The contract to run EquineX from 2011 onwards will be awarded soon. Andrew and Sally are working hard to make EquineX the best annual horse expo it possibly can be.
EquineX supports the regional equestrian community through a range of initiatives – see the ‘community’ section for more details.
