Shauna Haipola
Shauna began offering professional services in acupuncture, shiatsu and cold infrared laser therapy on horses and acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine on people.
She recently finished certification in horse acupuncture, but has been practicing since 2000. She trained at Doug Hannum’s Equine Therapy with Judith Shoemaker in 1995-96, where she was able to have some training with Mary Bromiley.
She then achieved a Masters in Acupuncture and a Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 1999-2000 from Bastyr University. During that time she spent 6 weeks training in Shanghai and Chengdu, China. I had a private acupuncture practice in Reno, NV, USA until June of 2008.
She has completed my Diploma of Equine Acupuncture from the Queensland College of Oriental Medicine, and she prefaces all of this training with a BA of Biochemistry from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, USA.
She loves providing relief and healing to all my clients, hooved or human
